Meeting minutes 10-29-12

Today we finished up our powerpoint. We checked details and figured out what slides people would present.
We double checked criteria and looked over the syllabus for other information

For this meeting we will go into the computer lab and add detail to our powerpoint. We will make sure that everyone knows what they are presenting and give each other ideas on how we can expand on these ideas. We will double check criteria and finish up the powerpoint

- We started the meeting by talking about due dates for the project and figured out the expectations of the powerpoint etc...
- We talked about ideas we had about that stops we would like to see on the route, how often the bus would run etc...
- To clearly and thoroughly explain the problem: University students without transportation can't benefit from the short distance from here to the cities
- Establish parameters or specific aspects that we are focusing on: This problem is already focused
- Where issue falls into bigger scheme of things: The admissions office uses the proximity to the cities as a selling point of the school, but many students can't get there.
- Provide any background information: Freshmen are told by many that they don't need a car on campus.
- Details on who is affected by the Problem: Students who don't have cars

Next meeting is Wednesday 10-10-12 from 12pm-1pm
- We will be talking about the ideas we have come up with and any brainstorming that has happened this past week.
- Please come with two ideas were you would like a stop either in Hudson or the Cities.
- We will be meeting in the Library entrance where we met last time, but I think it might be helpful to head to a computer lab so we could do some research.

First we talked about Egg Rolls, Yakou was making them and they smelled delicious!
We started our meeting by talking about the two ideas we came up with for issues on campus.
Yakou: Bike rental, Underground tunnels
Alisen: Bike Path next to walking path
Libby: Disability accessibility, campus security in parking lots
Kelsey: Smoking (only allowed on street side of campus), Bus transportation to the cities and Hudson
We decided on the bus transportation
